For this project, I was tasked with the complete redesign of the website for their rebranding from Erencia Creative to Meltemi Creative, a private institute specializing in ceramics, pottery and art classes. My role included both website design and development, and I used Figma for prototyping and Wix Studio to build and implement the final design.

With the transition from Erencia Creative to Meltemi Creative, the institute entered a new phase that required its digital presence to evolve alongside the rebrand. The existing website no longer reflected the updated identity, values, and atmosphere of the studio. While the institute had a strong creative foundation and growing community, the website did not fully communicate the warmth, craftsmanship, and calming experience that Meltemi Creative offers through its ceramics and pottery classes.


Additionally, as the studio continued to grow, there was a need to further optimize how users explored and booked classes online. Although functionality existed, the experience needed to feel more intuitive, visually aligned with the new brand, and emotionally engaging. The challenge was to translate Meltemi Creative’s renewed vision into a digital experience that felt inspiring, accessible, and true to its evolving identity.

To support the rebrand, I began by redefining the website’s visual direction to align with Meltemi Creative’s new identity. Working closely with the institute, I introduced a refreshed colour palette that reflects the studio’s artistic spirit while maintaining a sense of calm and warmth. 


The visual language was designed to immediately immerse users in the creative atmosphere of the space, evoking the feeling of stepping into a serene, hands-on studio environment.


A key focus of the redesign was refining the online booking experience. The booking system was structured to allow users to easily browse available classes, explore time slots, and reserve sessions with minimal friction. Alongside this, a blog and events section was incorporated to showcase workshops, announcements, and studio happenings, helping strengthen community engagement.


Throughout the design process, I focused on clarity, consistency, and creativity to ensure the website felt both expressive and functional.

04. Solution & Results

The redesigned Meltemi Creative website received very positive feedback from both the client and its students. Users responded enthusiastically to the updated visual identity, noting that the new colour palette and overall aesthetic better reflected the calm, creative atmosphere of the studio. The improved booking experience made it easier for users to commit to classes, enhancing overall accessibility and engagement.


Following the launch, the institute experienced a significant increase in class demand, growing from 5 weekly classes to 12 fully booked sessions, with plans to expand further. The website also became a stronger platform for promoting events and workshops, helping foster deeper connections with both new and returning students. From this project, I gained valuable insight into how strategic branding, thoughtful UX, and well-integrated functionality can directly support business growth and community building.
