01. Overview
For this project, I was tasked with the complete redesign of the website for Erencia Creative, a private institute specializing in ceramics and pottery classes. My role included both website design and development, and I used Figma for prototyping and Wix Studio to build and implement the final design.
02. Problem
03. Design
Erencia Creative’s previous website was outdated and didn’t reflect the vibrant, creative, and welcoming environment of the institute. The site's minimalistic design felt disconnected from the company's ethos, which focuses on art, creativity, and community engagement. In addition, the lack of an online booking system created friction for potential students who wanted to join classes, leading to missed opportunities for engagement and growth.
The institute wanted a website that not only enhanced its aesthetic presence but also provided a practical solution for students to book classes easily. This would help boost class attendance, foster client engagement, and create a stronger sense of loyalty among students. The website needed to appeal to everyone interested in ceramics and pottery, creating an inviting space where creativity and relaxation were central.
To address these challenges, I started by redefining the brand’s visual identity. I collaborated with the institute to create a new colour palette that would better represent its artistic and calming nature, using colours that evoke feelings of creativity, calm, and warmth. The goal was for the website to immediately resonate with users, making them feel like they were entering a creative and serene environment.
One of the key features introduced was a comprehensive online booking system. This system allowed users to browse classes, view available time slots, and book their preferred sessions effortlessly. We also incorporated a blog page where Erencia Creative could post updates about upcoming events and workshops, further engaging the community.
By focusing on simplicity, consistency, and creativity, I designed the website to be both functional and visually appealing. The clean layout, combined with a vibrant, carefully selected colour scheme, offered a relaxing user experience while showcasing the institute's core values of creativity and craftsmanship.
